Guys Night Out
Our Guys' Night Out program is just a social opportunity for the men of the Gilford Community Church and other men in the Lakes Region to get together every other month for social and fello
wship time. Our program is simple: just to get to know one another in a very relaxed fun setting. We begin the program at 6:00 pm and have a social time until a great meal is served at 7:00 pm. Around 8:00 we have a speaker who present topics and then interacts with the men as they ask questions.
We have had the editor and publisher of the Laconia Daily Sun discuss how he goes about getting out a daily newspaper. Also this past year, we have had the Manager of the Laconia Regional Airport present the "Past, Present and Future of the Airport". In March 2007 Mr. Jack Clark presented a great program of how to land jets on an aircraft carrier. All of our programs are "practical" and interesting to men.
Our turnout keeps increasing but we have held our cost for the total evening, beverages and food, to $10. We do ask for reservations by calling the church office at 524-6057 so that we can plan for a place for everyone who wants to attend.
