Adult Studies
Adult Faith Development is an important part of the Gilford Community Chur Adult Programsch. The purpose of all of our adult learning opportunities is to provide a forum where people can dialogue and be intellectually challenged. Mature faith helps one make sense of the world, God and our place in it.

Every Wednesday from 12 to 1:00 p.m. a group meets to study. Although our pastor leads the discussion, everyone is involved in the discussion. We are all learners. The group studies books of the bible, important contemporary theological works, and a variety of other topics.

Along with engaging books relevant to today's current events, we began a dvd s Adult Programseries called: "Great Figures of the Old Testament". The lecturer is Amy-Jill Levine. She is a professor at Vanderbilt University. The series examines key figures from the Old Testament and explores how these people have been understood by various people of faith.

Three or four times throughout the year, we hold special focused study programs in the evening. Let us know if there is something that might be of interest to you.
